INAUGURAL PALM BEACH CONNOISSEUR FAIR TO BENEFIT
THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY
PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 12, 2004)—The
Historical Society of Palm Beach County has announced it
will be the beneficiary of the preview evening for the inaugural
Palm Beach Connoisseur Fair, planned for January 6 –
9, 2005 at the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center for the
Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. The boutique-format
show is a departure from the large art and antiques fairs
and festivals now common to the area. The new show is specifically
designed to provide visitors with the “best of the
best” in art, jewelry, décor and collectibles
in a more intimate, personalized setting rather than the
standard exhibition hall format. The show will launch with
a Preview Party on January 6, providing a select audience
with the opportunity to meet with and purchase from the
elite international and national dealers presenting at the
show.
“Our goal was to stand apart from the
crowd and create the ‘gem’ of all the local
shows when it comes to quality and overall experience,”
said Historical Society Executive Director, Loren Mintz.
“The Palm Beach Connoisseur Fair brings that intimate,
exclusive element back to the arts fair while answering
the demand of the affluent and discriminating shopper looking
for a highly unique and broad selection.”
The Palm Beach Connoisseur Fair, organized
by James Crystal Productions, will also feature a lecture
series with some of the leading names in fashion, design,
décor and collectibles. Details for the event, including
the list of exhibitors and lecturers, will be announced
in the fall of 2004.
